How it works
Drop a video in and pick a speed from 0.5x to 3x.
Choose whether voices should keep a natural pitch, or shift with the speed (like a sped-up/slowed-down record).
Download the re-timed video — audio and video stay in sync.
Speed changes come up constantly: speeding up a long screen recording, slowing footage down for a dramatic or slow-motion effect, or fixing a clip that was recorded at the wrong frame rate. The pitch choice matters — "keep pitch natural" is almost always right for spoken content, while "let pitch shift" gives the classic chipmunk-speedup or slowed-down-record effect some edits actually want.
Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between the two pitch modes?
"Keep pitch natural" time-stretches the audio so voices sound normal at any speed. "Let pitch shift" instead resamples the audio, so pitch rises with faster speeds and drops with slower ones — like literally speeding up or slowing down a recording.
What's the speed range?
0.5x (half speed) up to 3x (triple speed), adjustable with presets or a custom slider.
Does the video stay in sync with the audio?
Yes — both are re-timed together by the same factor.
Can I use this for slow-motion effects?
It re-times existing footage rather than generating new in-between frames, so smoothness at slow speeds depends on your source frame rate — footage shot at a high frame rate will look smoother slowed down than footage shot at a standard rate.
